Short Bio

Lydia Hamby is a bluegrass vocalist, mandolinist, and songwriter signed to Gravy Records, known for original music that blends tradition with a modern voice. Her debut single, “The Cards You’ve Been Dealt,” featuring Tim Stafford, received national bluegrass airplay and helped establish her as an emerging artist. A two-time East Tennessee State University graduate, Lydia toured with the ETSU Bluegrass Pride Band before returning to teach at ETSU, where her academic work focused on women in bluegrass and roots music pedagogy.
